IT'S TIME TO PIVOT
Hey yall. It has been a minute so let me start by saying, HAPPY NEW YEAR :-) I wanted to just drop in today, as we are exiting February and heading into March, with a bold declaration of faith, that I believe is timely. IT IS TIME TO PIVOT. It is time to pivot from the place of your trial, to that place of your testimony. Get ready to testify. From trial to test to testimony.
A trial is an adverse (unfavorable, opposing one’s interests or desire) circumstance that comes into your life that is designed to develop you spiritually. They pop up out of nowhere, when you least expect it, when you are not even remotely “ready” for it. And sometimes, the unfortunate truth is that they involve pain and suffering. Trials can be very unpleasant and uncomfortable, but they come to TEACH AND TRANSFORM. Trials are used to develop you. Whereas, tests come to reveal what you know and what you believe. During trials it is easy to get discouraged and to even unknowingly decree death over your destiny-with your words. Your words hold weight, so it is imperative that you are mindful about how you use your tongue in the midst of a trial or test. There will be trials and tribulations in this life; how will you respond-just a heads up: doubt and double mindedness won’t cut it.
Qualities needed in a trial:
Be quick to hear (be a careful, thoughtful listener)
Slow to speak (choose your words carefully)
Slow to anger (be patient, reflective, and forgiving)
Anger, resentment, and unforgiveness do not produce righteousness.
Trials are a normal part of life. How you perceive the trial in the present determines the outcome in the future. While you are in it it can be very tempting to turn to your own desires, to bite the hook with the bait that leads you away from receiving God’s good and perfect gifts-instead you settle for staying stuck in stagnancy and going around the same mountains, wavering in your faith. Trials produce patience-patience is the ability to persevere through increasing levels of testing or suffering. Patience is the basis for JOY. Did you catch it? I know it seems like your trial is never ending and has no expiration date but ENDURE and continue to PUSH. The joy with which you endure present trials is a SIGN of your hope for future relief.
Get ready. March is a pivotal month for you. There will be a change in direction that will get you closer to your new and next season, than you’ve ever been before. That thing that has been delayed, is coming in your direction. That dream, vision, prophetic word that you buried because you had yet to see the blessing manifest, is turning around for you. MARCH into miracles, signs and wonders. Get ready to testify; your current trial might appear to be a set back, but it is actually a set up for the come back that is going to shift the trajectory of your life. Be expectant. Pray for wisdom.
